Harlem Lacrosse – Philadelphia is a new organization at Finletter that provides academic and behavioral support, leadership training, college trips, and lacrosse instruction — for FREE.
Harlem Lacrosse is a school-based non-profit organization that aims to change the life trajectories of under-served youth by building leadership skills and social responsibility through lacrosse. Harlem Lacrosse provides full day, year round intervention for our students by placing a full-time staff member at our school sites for each of our programs. Harlem Lacrosse started in 2011 in a middle school in Harlem. Since then, the organization has grown to 19 programs in 5 cities across the United States. The 2017-2018 school year is the first year Harlem Lacrosse is in the Philadelphia School District.
